This Privacy Policy explains how Plinki, operated by Labuk Games, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Plinki mobile app and related services. It is intended to provide clear information for users of the app distributed through Google Play and other app stores.

Plinki is a social question-and-answer app where users can answer a daily prompt, view community responses, optionally choose a username, and share generated images of answers through their device's native sharing options.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide and improve Plinki. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:

• Account and profile data: a Firebase authentication identifier, anonymous account status, optional username, optional email address, and account creation or upgrade timestamps.
• User content: answers you submit to daily questions and related metadata such as the date, question ID, and creation or update timestamps.
• Community display data: your chosen username, or an anonymous presentation format where applicable, together with content you post in the app.
• Analytics data: interaction events such as app screens viewed, answers submitted or edited, answers shared, onboarding completion, notification preference changes, language changes, and similar usage events collected through Firebase Analytics.
• Device and technical information: general device, operating system, app version, locale, and similar technical data made available by the platform or analytics provider for performance and service improvement purposes.
• Notification settings: whether you enable daily reminders and the time preference selected for local notifications.
• Locally stored preferences: app settings stored on your device, such as notification preferences and similar configuration data.

We do not ask for payment card information in Plinki, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

• Directly from you when you create or upgrade an account.
• Directly from you when you submit answers, choose a username, or contact us.
• Automatically through the technologies that support the app, including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Firebase Analytics.
• From your device when you enable notifications or use the operating system share sheet to share generated content.

4. How We Use Information

We use information collected through Plinki to:

• Create and maintain anonymous or registered user sessions.
• Save and display your answers and community content inside the app.
• Show your chosen username where community features require it.
• Enable account upgrades from anonymous to registered accounts.
• Schedule local reminder notifications if you choose to enable them.
• Generate shareable images on your device when you use the share feature.
• Measure usage trends, understand feature adoption, and improve app quality, onboarding, stability, and user experience.
• Protect the app, enforce our policies, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable under data protection law, we process personal information on the basis of one or more of the following: performance of our contract with you to provide the app, your consent where required, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Plinki, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in the limited situations described below:

• Service providers and infrastructure partners: we use Google Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, and Analytics, to operate the app.
• Other users of the app: answers you post and your display name or anonymous label may be visible to other authenticated users as part of Plinki's community features.
• Sharing initiated by you: when you use the share feature, the generated image is shared through your device's operating system and the third-party app or service you choose. Their privacy practices apply once the content is shared outside Plinki.
• Legal and safety reasons: where necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users, enforce our terms, or defend rights and property.

7. Google Play and App Permissions

Plinki is designed to minimize data collection. If the app asks for permissions, they are used only to support app functionality. For example, notification permissions are used to send local daily reminders only if you enable them.

The app may also rely on standard platform capabilities for network access, authentication, app analytics, and native sharing flows. We do not use these capabilities to sell data or build advertising profiles for third parties.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to operate the app, maintain community content, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

• Account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains active or needed to provide the service.
• Answers and related community content may remain available while required for the in-app experience unless deleted or removed.
• Analytics data may be retained according to Firebase Analytics retention settings and aggregated reporting practices.
• Notification preferences stored on your device remain until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information processed through Plinki, including authentication controls and database security rules. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and you should avoid posting sensitive personal information in answers or shared content.

10. International Data Transfers

The services we use, including Firebase, may process or store data on servers located outside your country of residence. By using Plinki, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in countries with data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can also manage some privacy choices directly in the app or on your device, such as disabling notifications, changing app preferences, or choosing not to provide optional profile fields like an email address.

12. Children's Privacy

Plinki is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we do, we will update the effective date shown below.
